The Chaplains provide confidential pastoral support to students and staff at UAL

In the case of students, information will not normally be disclosed to any person or any body outside the Counselling, Health Advice and Chaplaincy team;

In the case of staff, information will not normally be disclosed to any person or any body outside the Chaplaincy team;

unless:

1. a) the student/staff member gives consent to do so, or
2. b) we are required to do so by law, or
3. c) it is considered that there is a serious risk of harm to the student/staff member or a third party if information is not disclosed

Chaplains will normally make every effort to discuss with the student/staff member the perceived need to disclose and inform them of a proposed disclosure in advance wherever possible
